THE THREE Fs
The FirstF is Fitness, as in consistent and gradual improvement to one’s physical and spiritual well being. It is the magnet of F3.
The SecondF is Fellowship, as in the development of deep male friendships. It is the glue of F3.
The ThirdF is Faith, as in the recognition of a ruling force outside of oneself. It is the dynamite of F3.
Fit and Fellowed men naturally tap into their hard-wired desire to provide Leadership to their Communities. F3 exists to help them do it well.
It’s really pretty simple.
Accountability is your responsibility:
To have presence is to accept responsibility for your actions and be accountable for your results. Without accountability there is no presence in leadership. This is your leadership and you are 100 percent responsible for it, so be accountable.
Motivation comes from within:
A true leadership presence motivates and inspires others—to take initiative, to walk toward, a common purpose, and to work together to accomplish tasks and to achieve goals. Be close enough to relate but be far enough to keep people moving forward.
Integrity is always the purpose:
Some people think leadership is all about power, but actually it is all about having integrity. Having integrity means choosing your thoughts and actions based on your values and not on your personal gain. The supreme leadership quality is unquestionably integrity
If you take responsibility for your attitude—recognizing that it can change how you live, managing it every day, and cultivating and developing positive thoughts and habits—then you can make your attitude your greatest asset. It can become the difference maker in your life, opening doors and helping you overcome great obstacles.
MAKE THE DECISION TO HAVE A GOOD ATTITUDE TODAY
THEN MANAGE THAT DECISION THE REST OF THE DAY.
Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
2 Timothy 3:16
All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness
“Like the wind that carries one ship east and another west, the law of autosuggestion will lift you up or pull you down according to the way that you set your sails of thought.”
“Happiness is a quality of the soul…not a function of one’s material circumstances.”
“The most successful people reach the top not because they are free of limitations, but because they act in spite of their limitations.”
–Michael K. Williams
Leaders Leading Leaders
TALENT IS NOT ENOUGH
The winner’s edge is not in a gifted birth, in a high IQ, or in talent. The winner’s edge is in the attitude, not aptitude.
Unfortunately, many people resist that notion. They want to believe that talent alone (or talent with experience) is enough. But plenty of talented teams never amount to anything because of the attitudes of their players.
Abilities + Attitudes = Result
Great Talent + Rotten Attitudes = Bad Team Great
Talent + Bad Attitudes = Average Team
Great Talent + Average Attitudes = Good Team
Great Talent + Good Attitudes = Great Team
If you want great results, you need good people with great talent and awesome attitudes.
How often do you account for the attitude of others when you build a team?
When a leader listens to malicious gossip, all the workers get infected with evil.
